Puff Puff

your personal asthma action..game!

Puff Puff is an educational endless runner about paediatric asthma management. You run through the airways, dodge the things that make breathing hard, and take your puffs along the way. It is designed to make the daily preventer routine feel like something you do, not something you are told about.

What it is

Background

Puff Puff is made by a GP who also builds games. It came out of seeing the same thing from both sides: children who know they have asthma, and a preventer inhaler that quietly goes unused.

It has been taken out to clinicians, researchers and game developers, and what came back has shaped what is being built — in particular where the line sits between an educational tool and a regulated medical device, and what evidence a claim about habit would actually need.

Get involved

Puff Puff is looking for people to play it early and help shape it: families of children with asthma, teachers, school nurses, paediatric and primary care clinicians, and anyone working in behaviour change.
